With all the stories in the news recently about cops gone bad, we need to remember that the vast majority of police are doing a good job, and they are doing it under great danger and for a relatively low pay. We should all be thankful that they are there to protect us most of the time.
I have heard some strange conspiracy theories in recent years, but this week’s takes the prize. There are people in Texas who are actually worried that the United States of America is planning an invasion and takeover during upcoming military exercises. And this isn’t just a small group of Sterno drinkers, even the governor is going along with this nonsense. Should we be really naughty and inform the sovereign nation of Texas that they were taken over by the U.S.A. a long time ago? In any case, I think the pentagon can alleviate their fears by closing all military bases in Texas and moving them elsewhere.
My latest non-fiction book is now available in print form (paperback) as well as eBook. It’s a short book because I don’t like to fill non-fiction books with a lot of fluff. Every page of my book is useful information. Some of it, like the breathing exercises and the visualization techniques are useful even to those who don’t need to lose weight.
