come together

Come Together for Spiritual Growth and Protection

“Come together, O sons of the earth, and hear the angel who was sent out with the message of the skies. You came and were a gathering, you came and they gathered in you. … Wake, you who sleep. Wake, you who sleep. … The carrier of the message is on his way. … He raced laughing to the first man to tell him the message. He came and knocked on the gates and shouted, Open up at once. I have the message of the skies! …
“Who are you? My doors are locked, give me a sign so I’ll open to you and you can tell me the message. Who are you for me to open so you can tell me the message?
“I am the son of the son of the father. The son of the father has sent me to you about the message. Open, open up at once! Open the closed gates so you can be given the message! …”
“Tell me the message! The great spirit of the land of light, the cupbearer of all the aeons? Tell me the message! The land of light, the house of the father, bridal chamber of all the aeons? Tell me the message! …”
“Look, God has come wholly. Call and he will answer. Look, this is the message! …
“The virgin, the living fire has become master of the land of darkness. Carry the message! Look, the land of darkness we have wasted. We wait for you with a garland. Carry the message! …The robe of light was set on them. For them it was a bond, a shackle. Carry the message! …”
“Let’s go. They are expecting you. The light has surrounded darkness. Let’s go. … Look, god has wholly come. Call him. He will answer you.” ~The Manichaen Songbook

Song of Joy

This Manichaen song, which is much longer than the part I quoted, is one of joy and good tidings. It s a message from “above”. Meaning that it is from higher dimensions, spiritual dimensions. An angel of light has been sent with this message to those who will listen. Most of us living today are not surprised to hear that he found it difficult to get men to listen. Imagine how much worse it would be today.
Come Together Sons of the Earth
We are asked to come together. Come together to hear the “message of the skies,” which is delivered by an angel. Why come together? Because when we work together, we amplify our ability to reach higher frequencies. Together, we are better able to gain higher levels of consciousness. Also, when we come together, we can more easily ward off attacks from the demons and dark beings who don’t want our awakening.

Sons of the Son

The angel delivering the important message says he is a son of the son. This means that the angels are a creation of Christ rather than Father God. This may seem odd to many, but it isn’t Christ is the first creation of the Father. Christ is also the creative force of God. As such, it is His duty to create that which the Father desires. So in truth, the angel was created by both father and son since Christ would have not created him if he was not first “created” as a thought in the mind of the Father.
When Providence Knocks
The angels wished to share an important message but find doors and gates closed and locked. But he doesn’t give up. He calls out until someone finally listens. Listens enough, at least, to ask what message the angel had.
This description could be literally true in many cases. But it is not the literal truth that matters. It is an allegorical tale and its allegorical meaning is far more important. The closed doors and locked gates represent the spirits and souls of most men. We say we want to know everything, but in truth, many of us block spiritual knowledge from reaching us. We block it by disbelief. And if we have never bothered to awaken our spiritual faculties, that blocks spiritual messages as well. Occasionally, a little bit of that knowledge gets through by what we call intuition. The idea that we should actually converse with spiritual beings such as angels seems strange, if not impossible to most.
If we wish to receive the important messages carried to us by angelic beings, we must first awaken our spirit and soul and lose our doubts about their being a spiritual world and spiritual beings. Continue reading “Come Together for Spiritual Growth and Protection”

Follow the Way for Full Soul Realization

“Do not come to us holding heathen gods in your heart, even though they are within a hidden and closed recess. Purge yourselves of all false beliefs outside the gate.

“Here, all are to practice the way to full soul realization in common Here, truth will bind one with the other. Humility, modesty and justice will govern our lives. There is to be no straying of heart and eye towards improper and unworthy things. Every man is to command or obey according to his rank.

“If anyone is found to have lied upon admittance, … amends are to be made by labor. … If anyone lie with intent to deceive, or if injury or sorrow be caused to another, amends will be made by labor. …

“If anyone defame another behind his back, he is to make amends by labor.” ~The Kolbrin Bible (SOF:20:24-29)

Heathen Gods

This line has both a literal meaning and an allegorical one. Spiritual students are being advised to not worship false gods. But allegorically, it means that you must free yourself of all false beliefs, spiritual or not. If you cling to old beliefs, you can’t accept new ones.

You might ask, “How do I know which beliefs are false?”. In many cases, you can’t. At least not until you have truly awakened your spirit and soul. What you can do is be open-minded and accept that many things you were taught, and believed all your life, are simply not true. Some are exaggerations. Others are confused versions of the truth. Some are complete fantasies. They cannot be replaced with truth until we accept that they may be false. As Oriental teachers say, you must empty your cup before it can be refilled. Spiritual Connections and Why We Need Them

“Always make a connection with all good people. Make a connection with smart people. Make a connection with fair people. You have to constantly make a connection with good people, with smart and fair people, so that there can be an exchange between you. If you do not make a connection with the Good, you cannot become good. If you do not make a connection with fairness, you cannot become fair. … Make a connection with every man through whom God is manifested. …
“Money is not the most important thing in life. It is just a tool. The most important thing is to have light.” ~Biensa Douno

Birds of a Feather

An old saying goes, “Birds of a feather flock together.” That is true of real birds. It is just as true, as the saying intends, as an allegorical expression. It is most commonly used in a derogatory way when we see people who are not very nice hanging around together. So when we see business men spending time with criminal types, we can expect that their type of “business” is borderline legal, if not actually illegal, and certainly shady and immoral. When we have a president who calls white supremacists and neo-nazis “good people,” but criticizes anyone else who dares to protest his policies and behavior, we can also say this is a case of birds of a feather.

But the other side of that is true as well. People who hang out with good people are either much like them, or wish to be.

Socrates once told a student who had been bragging that he had been sitting with famous philosophers that he had sat with many wealthy men, yet had not become wealthy. This does not mean that there is no value in being with people you wish to emulate. And while Socrates may not have gained wealth by being with wealthy men, he certainly learned something about wealthy men when he was with them.

Connections

While it is great for a writer or researcher to spend time with people who are not so pleasant, such as the reported to joins a Ku Kluk Klan group to write an expose, there is danger is doing so that one may be affected by their thinking. Only a very strong-minded person who is not easily swayed should attempt such a venture. For most of us, the best thing to do is to hang around with lie-minded people, or people we wish to be like. If what matter to us is social issues, we should be around others who are champions of social rights. If it is the environment that concerns us, we should spend time with environmental groups—non-violent environmental groups. And if spiritual growth is our goal, the same is true their. Equality in Community Guided by Divine Light

“In days gone by, you have had leaders to guide you, but before them were even greater leaders, whom you have not known. The inspiration of their word is something that must never be lost; it must be preserved for all time.
“You must establish a community, where men can live together and where they can enjoy the companionship of women. Men always benefit from united effort, but this is inseparable from necessary restrictions. Let the restrictions imposed be such that no man can feel resentment because of the restraints set upon him. Let the only ordinances and restriction imposed be founded on the nature of man and upon spiritual and moral values.
“We must seek to assure freedom of action for every man and woman, so long as it does not prejudice the equal rights of others. … The rewards must go to the men who are best in all ways. …We must to provide for the sick and helpless, for the old and incapable. … We must make men high-minded and above all pettiness. … We must be a guiding light before the eyes of all men.” ~The Kolbrin Bible (SOF:1:6-11)

Great Leaders

There have been many great leaders in the world of various types. There are great political leaders, great business leaders, great leaders in science and art. The greatest leaders of all, however, are the great spiritual leaders. They are the greatest because they care for our immortal spirits and souls rather than our mortal bodies. They are great because they believe in equality.

Sadly, the other side of the coin is also true; we have had terrible leaders.

In business, the bad leader is the one who cares only for profit regardless of the cost to humanity. He might sell tobacco products, pesticides, or junk food. The his products kill people doesn’t bother him at all, as long as they make him wealthy.

In politics, science, and even religion, terrible leaders are very similar to that bad business leader. The politician who seeks to help only those wealthy who donate large sums of money to his campaigns, and perhaps even more under the table, is just as bad as that business person. The scientist who will say a certain processed food is healthy when the manufacturer donates millions to the university he works for, and the preacher who preaches whatever the crowd is will to pay to hear is equally as bad.
