If I like a new TV show it will probably get canceled.  Now it’s happening with radio as well.  About a year ago, my favorite station that had been smooth jazz for 14 years, changed to rock oldies.  Now they’ve changed again to hard rock.

In the new news this week is two stories of terrorist bombing plots that were spoiled by the FBI.  What I wonder is why the media says the FBI and not Homeland Security which is supposed to be getting the FBI, CIA, DIA, and all the others working together?

A story was in the news a few days ago about a study that found that the water in many schools has dangerous levels of lead and other chemicals.  Yet environmental groups are pushing everyone to stop drinking bottled water.  I’m all in favor of environmental responsibility, but not at the expense of our health.

A 78 year old woman kicked her husband in the groin several times because she thought he had an affair – thirty-five year ago!

A guy in Wisconsin petitioned a judge to get back the roosters and hens that were taken from him when he was accused of running a cockfighting ring on ground that the humane society now caring for the animals was being cruel to them.

A guy in California was arrested for stalking his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly flying over her house in his private plane.

A women called police for help when she couldn’t remember where she parked her car with the kids in it before she went off to deal drugs.

I agree about the plastic bottles, but some environmental groups are only complaining about bottled water.  The same plastics are used for many other drinks, so they should be complaining about the bottles not the contents.  I can certainly understand when it comes to botled water that is realy just tap water, possible filtered.  Buying those things definately don’t make sense.
I too use a filter pitcher at work and at home but they are also made of plastic and have filters that are supposed to be replaced every two months, so they are not that innocent either.

I think the issue with the bottled water is all the little plastic bottles. I agree that I’m still going to drink bottled water. My solution is that we have one of those water dispensers. And we use washable cups instead of buying millions of the little plastic bottles.
